CHILDREN in Need 2022 is coming to Warrington next week, as Matt Baker brings the 'Rickshaw Relay' to the town.
The event sees Matt pedalling on a rickshaw through various parts of the country, and teaming up with local fundraisers.
This year, Matt will be coming through Warrington and will partner with Quinlan Dunne, the younger brother of deceased Viola Beach member River Reeves.
Children in Need's event will pass through Warrington on Tuesday, October 18.
Matt Baker and Quinlan will be cycling through Queens Gardens, Palmyra Square, on Tuesday morning, hoping to raise funds for vital children's charities.
Following the death of his older brother in 2016, Quinlan was supported by a children's bereavement charity that is funded through Children in Need.
Quinlan said: "Child Bereavement UK helped support me through one of the toughest moments in my life when I lost my brother, and that support was invaluable.
"I’m taking part in this challenge to give back and help other young people who are going through a tough time to get back on their feet.”
The route will see the rickshaw go through the centre of town, over Bridgefoot, and down through Stockton Heath.
It will travel through Walton, to Hatton, and across into Daresbury.
There is a BBC live tracker for the Children in Need event, which can be accessed here so that you can follow the route live.
It is expected that Matt will be in Warrington at Queens Gardens at 8:30am on Tuesday, October 18.
