THERE are delays across Warrington this morning following a crash on the M62.
Traffic was stationary on the M62 in Warrington this morning, Wednesday, following a multi-vehicle crash.
The M62 westbound was ‘blocked’ due to an accident between junction 11, Birchwood, and junction 10, Croft.
All traffic was held at 6.15am and was stationary for around an hour.
Two lanes have now reopened but delays of around one hour are reported with congestion stretching back to Leigh and Lowton.
Traffic is also slow on the eastbound carriageway as onlookers slow down to look at the incident.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 6.12am on Wednesday, October 12, police received a report of a collision on the M62 between junction 11 to junction 10 involving two vehicles.
"There were no injuries reported and police officers supported Highways England with managing the traffic."
