A LARGE police presence was in the town centre last night, Monday, following concerns for the safety of a woman.
At around 6.20pm, officers attended reports of concerns for the safety of a woman at a car park on Academy Way.
On arrival, officers found a 19-year-old woman who was believed to be intoxicated.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
One passer-by reported that there were around six police cars at the scene as well as an ambulance.
