THE M6 northbound has reopened two lanes after an overturned vehicle closed the motorway earlier today.
The incident happened between junction 17 at Sandbach and 18 for Middlewich.
Two lanes remain closed as contractors clear a spillage from the carriageway.
The vehicle involved has now been recovered.
Delays of around 60 minutes can be expected.
A spokesman for Highways England had posted:"The M6 is now closed northbound between junction 17 and junction 18 due to an overturned vehicle and recovery work.
"Please allow extra time for your journeys of at least 45 minutes on the approach."
