ALL traffic was held on the M6 northbound last night, Monday, after a set of ladders fell from a van.
Traffic between junction 20, Lymm and junction 21, Woolston, was held at around 9pm.
This was to allow for patrols and Highways North West to collect debris.
It is believed the debris caused damage to a number of vehicles.
“Make sure everything you’re carrying is secured correctly,” said North West Motorway Police on Twitter.
