AN offender who threatened to destroy a woman’s flat and blow up her car has been spared jail.
Daniel Eyres, of Brick Street, also stole £30 from his victim.
The 32-year-old appeared before Warrington Magistrates’ Court for sentencing in September after being convicted of threatening to damage/destroy property and theft in a dwelling other than an automatic machine or meter.
Court documents state that both offences happened in Warrington on December 10 last year.
Eyres was handed a community order by magistrates and must complete up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
He is also subject to a two-year restraining order against the victim and must pay court costs of £800.
