UPDATED plans for a significant warehouse development in Birchwood have arrived.
The site is off Griffith Avenue in Birchwood Park business site, and Warrington Borough Council has issued a 'discharge of conditions' for the updated plans - which means they have approved the update.
Initially, the plans were submitted in October 2021, and approval was given in March.
The original plans were for the construction of three warehouses in Birchwood, and the approval for those plans came through earlier this year - but now there has been a big update.
Plans now include the construction of e-charging points to service the site.
There will now be nine electric vehicle charging points at the three warehouses - should approval be granted for the update.
The land being used for the warehouses' construction is currently an empty plot on Birchwood Park.
The plans also include provisions for future charging points to be installed at the site, but that will be down to the tenants to decide in future.

According to Zap Map, there are fewer than 140 public electric vehicle charging points in the whole of Warrington - with the majority of them being located in Time Square car park.
