AN unauthorised traveller site remains in place on the overflow car park of Orford Neighbourhood Hub, on Jubilee Way.
Reports of caravans pitching up on the car park first came in on the evening of Tuesday, September 20, around 9pm.
Despite briefly moving to an area near St Mary's Hospital, on Floyd Drive, the travellers returned to the site adjacent to Orford Hub.
According to Cheshire West and Chester County Council, the travellers were due to be served with a court order for their dispersal on Wednesday, October 5.
As of 3:30pm on October 5 the unauthorised encampment remained on the site.
The land is council-owned and is used as an overflow car park for the leisure complex, and for the Decathlon store, too.
According to reports on the county council's website, there are seven caravans on the car park.
