Warrington Road in Penketh
A MAJOR road in Penketh – and many of the streets surrounding – will close in the evenings later this month.
Carriageway resurfacing will take place on the A562 Warrington Road from October 31 for six weeks.
Work will take place between 7pm and 1am, when signs are in place.
The road will close from its junction with Greystone Road in an east bound direction only and from Warrington Road for 50 metres along the following lengths of road, Birkdale Road; Coronation Drive; The Grove; Heath Road and Sandy Lane.
Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Farnworth Road, Stocks Lane and A57 Liverpool Road.
