IAN Brown has been slammed by his fans after his gig in Leeds failed to live up to expectations.
The singer, who fronted the Stone Roses, was hit with criticism after his gig on Sunday, September 25, left a lot to be desired.
Brown, who lives near Lymm in Warrington, turned up to perform at the gig without a backing band.
This led some fans to criticise the singer for charging full price for tickets, whilst '[doing] karaoke and [butchering] his own songs.'
The tour marks Brown's first in a decade.

Some fans were also disappointed at the singer's lack of Stone Roses songs in the setlist - whereas others were more sympathetic; one audience member wrote on Twitter: "Saw Ian Brown in Leeds last night.
"If you are a fan of Ian Brown's solo stuff and you have tickets for his tour, you'll love it but don't go expecting Stone Roses songs or a backing band as he has neither.
"Decent night though."
Another fan, however, was less compassionate - Simon Fowler accused Brown of 'desecrating the memory' of the Stone Roses.
Anyone who has Ian Brown tickets for the tour, sell them now. Talk about desecrating the memory of the Stone Roses - he's just done it one evening.

Ian Brown's tour continues, and culminates at the O2 Academy in London on October 7.
