A PUB in Warrington has been named 'Community Pub of the Year'.
The Albion, on Battersby Lane, was presented with the award on Friday, September 23, by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
'Community Pub of the Year' was awarded to The Albion by CAMRA's North Cheshire branch.
Charlotte Nichols, MP for Warrington North, presented The Albion with the award - Ms Nichols is chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Pubs.
The winner of the last 'Community Pub of the Year' award was the Ferry Tavern, in Penketh.
Posting on social media, the Albion said: "A big shout out must go out to all our wonderful customers who make the pub what it is today and not forgetting Dave Appleton who goes above and beyond with his help."
Many customers agreed with the result, with one saying: "Well deserved, great pub!"
Reviews posted online also agree - Billy Higgins wrote: "It's a great community pub for locals and anyone who wants experience the atmosphere of a truly local pub."
Darryl Cann said: "Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and customers.
"Happy hour is great value, the courtyard is a great size with plenty of seats."
Another customer, Dave Taylor, added: "Proper boozer good real ale. Support it or lose it.
"One of the most consistent pubs for quality of real ales with great prices."
