DIGNITARIES and special guests had a taste of what is to come at this year's Cheshire Show when they attended an exclusive gala dinner.
The sparkling event at Tatton Park celebrated the 170th anniversary of the show and former Tatton MP Martin Bell gave an informative talk about the history of the annual event.
Also in attendance were the Marquess of Chomondley, Lord Ashbrook, Lord Gray and William and Elizabeth Bromley Davenport.
Nigel Evans, executive director of the Cheshire Show, said: "170 years is an extraordinary achievement and it is thanks to all the hard work of volunteers and support of visitors that has made it such a celebrated event."
