A GREAT Sankey employer has moved to reward hard-working members of staff.

Those working at Amazon sites in Warrington were recently treated to a summer party as a thank you for their great work in delivering for customers.

Amazon team members were joined by their family and friends at the outdoor celebration at Haydock Park Racecourse.

The day featured a DJ set, face painting and a mini sports day event.

They were joined at the event by colleagues from Amazon’s fulfilment centres in Manchester and Bolton.

James Pitt, site leader at Amazon Warrington, said: “We all had such a great afternoon, and it was fantastic to see so many team members having fun with their friends and families.

“Everyone enjoyed party games, good food and great company, and I would like to thank our team and their families for coming along and making it a brilliant day.”

Bhaumik Bhatt, a quality assurance manager at Amazon Warrington, attended the event.

He added: “It was great to be able to bring my family along to celebrate our success, we had good food, plenty of laughs and fantastic company.”
