TWO Culcheth boys are being praised for looking after a lost dog while its owners searched for him.
The unknown boys - only known by their first names, Riley and Thomas - were thanked on social media by the owners' daughter, Katy.
On Friday, Katy took to social media to put a call out to the boys, saying that the boys took to the streets to knock on doors to find the dog's owners.

The escaped pooch is called Max, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and he was reunited with his owners at the weekend.
Max, the crafty canine, escaped from his owners' house when he got out through their gate.
Although Max is chipped, it was the selfless actions of Riley and Thomas that allowed the beloved family pooch to be returned to his home in Culcheth.
If anyone knows the two boys, Riley and Thomas, then Katy wants to thank them on behalf of her parents for the safe return of the family's four-legged friend.

Beverly, one of Max's owners, said on social media on Friday: "Naughty dog is fast asleep on a chair now.
"The boys deserve a medal. Thank you boys so much."
Another Culcheth resident said: "One of the lads knocked on my door. He was very polite and it was lovely that they cared so much.
"Well done, boys."
