A WOOLSTON gym promises to change lives through physical exercise and by establishing a 'human connection' between its coaches and its guests.
CrossFit Warrington is in Unit 14, Greys Court, on Kingsland Grange, and is owned by Sarah Lunn and Sian Edwards.
Sarah and Sian met three years ago at another CrossFit gym and bonded over the high-intensity interval training that the sport provides.
Sarah said: "Google 'CrossFit' and you’ll see incredible Olympian-level athletes achieving amazing feats with their fitness.
"But what you might not realise is that CrossFit was borne to fight chronic disease and raise life expectancy."
The gym will officially open on Saturday, September 3, and will be running optional workouts - between 9:30-11:30am - so that people can go down to the gym and understand what CrossFit is all about.
The owners said: "For Sian, CrossFit was about self-worth and self-esteem and how the supportive CrossFit community encourages you to do hard things in the gym, making hard things outside seem easier."
Sarah added: "CrossFit isn’t just about coming to the gym, it's about being part of a community that supports each other and thrives together.
"We’re so excited to bring CrossFit Warrington to the local community."
