A NEW toy library for children with disabilities has been officially opened in Birchwood.
Birchwood Park has donated free storage space for the Families United (FUN) charity to house the sensory toys the charity provides for families.
The new library was officially opened by Lee Briars, patron of the charity and Jonathan Black, asset manager at Birchwood Park.
Denise Edwards, chairman of Families United, said: "The work of FUN is to enhance the lives of disabled children and their families by providing them with social opportunities, information and support.
"We are extremely grateful that Birchwood Park have donated storage facilities for our toy library equipment.
"This will provide an opportunity for children with a disability to play with sensory toys and have FUN."
