YOUNG people can obtain free information, guidance and support from a qualified Connexions advisor.
Providing free advice in areas such as jobs and training, health and leisure, relationships and family, benefits, housing, education and drugs and alcohol issues, the personal advisers aim to give people the best start in life.
Interview skills, as well as career advice and access support on personal issues, can be obtained from the weekly sessions at Newton Community Centre.
Working in partnership with a range of organisations, Connexions ensures to get people aged 16 to 19 years, or up to the age of 25 if they have learning difficulties or disabilities, the support they need.
The Newton personal adviser team will be at Newton Family and Community Centre, Park Road South every Friday from 10am until 2pm.
