DRIVING will be banned on part of Burtonwood Road if Warrington Borough Council proposals are approved.
The council intends to ban driving, except for bicycles, along a three metre length of road from a point south east of Burtonwood Road's junction with Bicknell Close.
The measures are to accommodate the new distributor road', Boston Boulevard, off the Chapleford Urban Village development and to improve road safety and minimise congestion.
Details of the plans can be seen during the usual office hours, Monday to Friday, at New Town House on Buttermarket Street.
Objections must be made in writing and sent to Rebecca Davies, Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, WA1 2QB, by March 20.
