DON'T forget the advance warning of a frog march at Sankey Valley Park in two weeks' time.
The event, on Sunday, March 16 from 1pm to 4pm, is a chance to hunt around the park's ponds and ditches and learn about frogs, toads and their habitat.
The rangers will be recording their sightings to help monitor amphibian populations in Cheshire.
Those interested should wear wellies or stout walking boots for the four-mile walk and meet at Bewsey Bridge near Lodge Lane.
