DATED rehearsal equipment will be a thing of the past for Warrington's Scout Gang Show after they received a £10,000 grant from the National Lottery Awards for All scheme.
Ben Pickersgill, chairman of the Gang Show, said: "We will buy new stage and sound equipment and a new keyboard. The grant will also enable us to take the Gang Show experience out on various activities and allow more youngsters to have a go at the performing arts."
The 51st Gang Show takes place at the Parr Hall from Tuesday, March 11 until Saturday, March 15, at 2pm and then 7.15pm.
The show will feature music from Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008, Scotland and the Caribbean.
