A PRIMARY school is celebrating after receiving a cash injection from NatWest.
St Matthew's CE Primary School, Stretton, received a community cashback award from NatWest, Stockton Heath for the sixth consecutive year.
The cheque was presented as a thank you' from the branch after the school's parents and teacher association raised money through its annual community event, Stretton Walking Day school fair last July.
Jane Jackson, NatWest service quality manager and volunteer at the school, said: "It's great that my employers are supporting my community involvement in this way."
The cash gift, coupled with funds from the PTA, has provided the pupils with an educational Coomber public address system, worth £1,000, which will be used for amplifying voices and music for educational purposes.
