A HALF term crackdown on under age drinking yielded lager, spirits, alcopops and cider when police patrolled Warrington East.
Police officers targeted hotspots of anti-social behaviour in Orford, Padgate, Birchwood and surrounding areas.
They confiscated alcohol and either poured it down the drain or took it back to Risley police station.
The initiative was part of ArcAngel - a scheme that tries to curb underage drinking.
Police Sgt Graham Waring told a meeting of Fearnhead Neighbourhood Watch that the clamp down had been a success.
He said the force is considering donating the confiscated alcohol to charities to auction or raffle.
"I would like to thank the community for continuing to support us with information and ask them to get in touch with details of locations of anti-social behaviour or underage purchase or consumption of alcohol," added Sgt Waring.
