SINCE first appearing on our screens in 2001, Scrubs seems to have achieved the impossible.
Despite six series in the same old hospital setting, the TV show has been consistently witty, entertaining, fresh and inventive.
The characters are still engaging and the off-the- wall comedy scenes are still funny as are the renowned rantings of Dr Cox.
While many sit coms can fizzle out, Scrubs seems to have matured with its audience and still has a story to tell 139 episodes down the line. This time, it's all about babies.
Turk and Carla have their first daughter Isabella, JD discovers Kim is pregnant and Jordan manages to be even scarier as the four-month pregnant mum-to-be. Meanwhile, Elliot changes to private practice and starts to plan her wedding to Keith.
However far removed you are from hospital life, Scrubs has a way of drawing you in and it's all too easy to relate to the realistic dilemmas the characters face.
