LIVERPOOL are set to include Daniel Agger, Xabi Alonso, Harry Kewell and Martin Skrtel in their reserve squad to face Manchester United at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Tuesday night, kick-off 7.30pm.
Danish international centre back Agger is set to make his return from a metatarsal injury in the Barclays Premier Reserve League (North) clash in Warrington, while Spanish midfield maestro Alonso and Australian winger Kewell will use the match to build up match fitness.
Skrtel is set to be on the bench after sustaining a wrist injury in the recent first-team match at Chelsea.
Agger has not played for the first team since September and suffered a recurrence of the metatarsal injury during an aborted comeback in December.
Alonso and Kewell have both figured for the first team recently, being involved in the FA Cup defeat to Barnsley, but will use the match to build up fitness.
Slovakian centre back Skrtel joined Liverpool from Zenit St Petersburg during January and was an unused substitute against Middlesbrough on Saturday following injury.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez could be in the stands for the reserve clash, although their attendance has not yet been confirmed.
Young United centre back James Chester could become the first Warringtonian to play football at The Halliwell Jones Stadium - four years after the opening of the venue.
Spanish under 21 international Gerard Pique, who starred on loan for Real Zaragoza last season, could also be involved for the Red Devils alongside Chris Eagles and Danny Simpson.
A total of 4,000 tickets have already been sold for the 'derby' match with few tickets remaining in the North Stand.
Fans wanting to guarantee a seat at the match, with the East Stand also open, are advised to purchase tickets in advance.
Tickets for the South Stand terracing, which has been reserved for United fans, and the West Stand standing set aside for Liverpool supporters are expected to be available by paying on the turnstiles tomorrow night.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for concessions, with a crowd of around 10,000 expected.
