Those travelling to Iceland’s capital can indulge in plenty of food during their stay such as the hot dogs at Baejarins Beztu Pylsur or visit a restaurant called Dill for a Michelin star meal.

You can also expect to take in the views of nearby mountains and even visit the harbour to embark on a whale-watching cruise.

If you’re lucky, the Northern Lights might also be something to catch a glimpse of and take in.

Some good viewpoints in the city include Hallgrimskirkja church, the 360 degrees observation deck at Perlan and the waterside Sun Voyager sculpture.

You’ll also spot the artistic additions to the city including Rainbow Street where you’ll see different architecture such as traditional Icelandic houses and the Harpa concert hall.
