A WARRINGTON Wolves star is celebrating his amazing A-level results after achieving two A*s and an A.
Despite balancing his studies alongside his rugby career, Jack Darbyshire managed to receive fantastic grades.
The 18-year-old received an A* in economics, an A* in PE and an A in psychology.
Jack, who is the son of former Wolves legend Paul Darbyshire, was delighted with his results will be going for a meal with family and friends to celebrate.
He told the Warrington Guardian how he didn’t want to give rugby or education up – so chose to balance the two.
Speaking about balancing college work and rugby training, he said: “It was definitely difficult but the main thing was to not get behind on work in the first place.
“The teachers were all very supportive – they kept uploading work and checking in on me.”
Now, alongside his rugby career Jack will be studying psychology at The Open University.

This will allow him to study online to work around his training as he will continue to play for Warrington Wolves.
Jack has been in several 21-man squads for the first time but has yet to make his full team debut.
The young centre scored a try during the pre-season friendly against Salford Red Devils earlier this year.
