ALMOST five million people in the UK work unpaid overtime, equating to an average of £4,995 free work per employee, according to trade unions.
Today, Friday, February 22 has been labelled 'Work Your Proper Hours Day' by the Trades Union Congress (TUC) in a bid to encourage employees to leave work at their designated time.
