A SNOW drop walk for charity takes place in Glazebury this Sunday.
Peter and Delia Caswell will open up their garden to visitors between 12 noon and 4pm to view the first signs of spring.
Donations are welcome and all proceeds will be split between two charities: Macmillan Nurses and Phakamisa, an orphanage near Durban, South Africa, which helps children who have lost their parents to Aids.
Anyone interested should park their car at Bents Garden Centre in Warrington Road, which also has snowdrops on display, before walking to the Caswells' home, Lea Hurst, in Hurst Mill Lane.
The day will be rounded off with tea and crumpets and follows the success of the garden opening last Sunday.
