HIS name has become intrinsically linked with a campaign to save Woolston High School, and now head boy Jonny Scotland has been named the Mayor's Young Citizen of the month.
The 18-year-old was nominated by staff at the school for his charity work as well as for raising awareness about the Woolston High School campaign.
"His boundless enthusiasm is infectious and this includes and encourages many younger pupils," the recommendation letter from Sian Leatherbarrow said.
"He is desperate to improve the image that young people have within the community and he surely leads by example in Woolston," it said.
