DETECTIVES in the Shafilea Ahmed murder enquiry say they are pleased with how the Crimewatch appeal went.
But despite a good response following Wednesday night's dramatic reconstruction on the BBC, officers are still waiting for that 'key call'.
Det Supt Geraint Jones, who is heading the investigation in the 17-year-old Sankey student's murder, said: "The whole programme was exactly what we wanted."
"We are particularly pleased with some of the responses we had but we are still looking for that key phone call."
Shafilea was last seen alive in Warrington on September 11, 2003.
Her badly decomposed body was found in flattened undergrowth by the River Kent in Cumbria on Febuary 4, 2004.
A coroner ruled at her inquest last month that the popular teenager, who hoped to become a lawyer, had been 'unlawfully killed'.
No-one has ever been charged in connection with her death.
