A WARRINGTON-based company has been recruited to undertake a multi-million pound face-lift on a building in Leeds.
The Legh Street architecture and surveying company, IOCHRE, who built the Makoto Bank headquarters in Taiwan was commissioned to undertake the design and delivery of the frontage of the Yorkshire Bank head office in Leeds.
The refurbishment of the £8 million office, involved expanding the capacity of the building to improve the working environment for its 700 staff members at the bank.
Ewan McCulloch, of Yorkshire Bank, said: "We enlisted IOCHRE's help for the project as Paul Arnold (IOCHRE's managing director) is a specialist designer for this type of installation. The standard of work by IOCHRE has been excellent and the frontage has been revitalised, flooding the internal space with natural light and making a great working environment. Customers and employees alike have made positive comments: it looks superb and has really enhanced the building'."
Paul Arnold said: "The result (of the refurbishment) is a modern and attractive building leading right onto the High Street, together with a perfect working environment for staff. I'm really pleased with the results."
