A DERELICT car park in Warrington town centre could be used as a pop up healthy food takeaway.
New plans have been submitted to revitalise the currently unused plot of land off Old Road close to Bridge Foot and turning it into a pan-Asian takeaway called Panoo.
Documents submitted to Warrington Borough Council state the plan is for a drive on and park up healthy hot food takeaway.
They add: "The site has capacity for 63+ spaces, allowing the vendors to utilise the entire site, keeping the proposal self-contained, without need for parking outside of the site.
"Patrons would be able to order their food and use the drive-up or park facility to collect, this would keep all traffic on site and once they have collected, they can vacate or use the designated short term parking bays.
"The location allows us to repurpose an empty corner of land, making it an attractive and appealing place for people to eat.
"Our social conscience means we will build links with local charities, to provide food and meals for vulnerable members of the community. The style and image of the brands fit with sustainability and reusing materials for new purpose."
