A RECONSTRUCTION of the events surrounding the death of Sankey student Shafilea Ahmed will be watched by millions of TV viewers tonight.
BBC One's Crimewatch programme shows 17-year-old Shafilea, played by an actress, at Priestley College before she disappeared in September 2003, and the grim discovery of her body by a Cumbrian riverbank in February 2004.
The show also features interviews with Shafilea's school friends who will describe the loss of a loyal and fun friend who wanted to become a lawyer.
The police officer leading the investigation into what a coroner last month described as a vile murder', Detective Superintendant Geraint Jones, joins Crimewatch presenter, Kirsty Young, in the studio.
They will explain how the public could help bring Shafilea's killer or killers' to justice.
