POLICE are hunting a teenage sex attacker after a girl was assaulted in Longford.
The boy is believed to have been following two girls, aged 14 and 16, as they walked down Long Lane towards Winwick.
He had been wolf whistling the girls before he approached and grabbed the 16-year-old.
Police revealed one of the pair was sexually assaulted during the incident which happened around 8.45pm on Monday, January 28.
The man escaped towards Northway.
PC Pam Hopkins, who is investigating the incident, said: "She screamed and told her friend to call the police and that made him run off.
"She was quite shook up."
The girls say two other men were walking in the distance and police believe they may have vital information on the attacker.
He was in his late teens, around 5ft 8ins tall, with a slim build. He had a spotty complexion and mousey hair. He was wearing a black duffle coat with the hood, which was chequered inside, worn up, black tracksuit bottoms and he spoke with a local accent.
