HUNDREDS of council employees gathered at The Halliwell Jones Stadium to celebrate after Warrington was given a four-star excellent' rating by the Audit Commission.
The event was organised by Town Hall bosses to say thanks to staff for playing their part.
Chief executive Diana Terris, said: "Retaining our four-star rating is a true reflection of the hard work, committment and team work of our 8,000-plus staff.
"It was great to see so many people at the event and I would like to thank all our staff for the crucial part they have played in achieving this, which we will keep building on.
