THE Ferry Tavern, on Station Road in Penketh, is hosting The Grand Marquee Weekend to raise money for the Ethan Connolly fund.
An evening of live music from The Amazing Kappa and The Sugar Daddies kicks off the weekend, on Friday, February 29, starting at 7.15pm. Tickets are £10.
A football sportsman's dinner featuring guest speakers Dave Johnson (ex-Liverpool and Everton) and Jimmy Case (ex Liverpool) takes place on Saturday and will includes a luxury buffet, memorabilia auction, raffle and stand up bingo. Tickets for over 18s only at £40 per person.
On Sunday, a Mothers' Day holistic experience takes place, where a choice of 12 therapies will be available to sample, including clairvoyance, between 12pm and 6pm.
Entry is £2 on the door with a separate charge for therapies.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Guardian's Ethan's Journey, a campaign set up to help the youngster who has a lymphatic disorder that causes cysts to grow on his face and body.
