HALF-term family fun has come to Dallam with a host of activities that the whole community can get involved in.
Residents have been getting involved in Whatever it Takes' week, which has seen a wide range of free sessions organised for people living in the area.
Events continue today, Thursday and Friday, including a programme to clean up the area on Thursday with skips around the community and litter picking patrols on duty.
Other events include: Today, Thursday: l Dallam Community House, Harrison Square: 3.30pm - join the intergenerational choir and sing your heart out. 6pm - model-making session where you can learn how to turn everyday items into art.
l St Mark's Church: 4pm - a disco for the volunteers who have helped during the day's clean up session.
Tomorrow, Friday: l Dallam Community House: 10am until 2pm - enjoy free holistic therapies. 3.30pm - join the intergenerational choir for another session.
l St Mark's Church: Angels Academy will be holding free dance classes for youngsters aged six to nine at noon and 10 and over from 1pm.
l Dallam Children's Centre: Coffee morning in connection with the library service l Harrison Square: 12.30pm - join Laurie Murphy and stretch those muscles with a lunchtime walk in Sankey Valley.
