The self taught, self produced artist Shayan Italia has launched himself to stardom through sheer determination and belief in his new found abilities as a singer/songwriter after a tragic turn of events which lead to the death of both his parents. After his mother passed away Shayan Italia sat down at a piano and his new found talent came flooding out, the result being his multi-award winning critically acclaimed forthcoming single - Soul. The only Zoroastrian after Freddie Mercury to break into the international music scene, and compared to a young Elton John and Neil Tennant (BBC Radio 2: Steve Wright Show; and Paul Donnovan, Radio Columnist, Sunday Times). Having toured with G4 to full houses across the UK in 2007, the self-taught, self-produced musician, Shayan Italia, reached number three in the Music Video Charts last November, with his hit single, Reflection. Shayan Italia is also the first person ever, to do a live performance on Sir David Frost's TV show. The interview was recorded last December.
Shayan was the first person in History to auction a portion of his life's earnings in music on E-bay and raised £9,000 in seven days. This month, he would have raised $1m to become the first independent music artist in history to raise US $1m through private investors. He also has a very inspiring story and he epitomizes music entrepreneurship and passion.
