Bombay 8 is up for "Best Curry Restaurant" in the North West

Bombay 8, off Charon Way in Westbrook, has been recognised as being amongst the top Indian restaurants in the country.

The English Curry Awards 2022 are set to be held on August 22, in Birmingham, and will be the 11th annual Curry Awards - they are being hosted by Oceanic Consulting.

A spokesperson said: "It’s always a brilliant night of fun, food and celebration.

"Despite the many challenges facing the curry industry, these awards prove year after year how much talent there is fuelling the industry, satisfying all of our curry cravings."

Bombay 8 was also previously awarded "Best Restaurant" in 2021 at the annual awards.

Staff at the restaurant have received rave reviews for a number of years

Bombay 8 has been on the site in Gemini, Westbrook, for almost 10 years, and consistently receives rave reviews; one customer said: "Amazing food and great service, even though it was busy the food was served quickly and efficiently. The staff are helpful and friendly.

"Food is the perfect flavour and spiced to perfection"
