Visitors are welcome to an open day at Penketh Fire Station
FAMILIES are enjoying exploring Penketh Fire Station as it hosts an open day.
Visitors are welcome to pop in anytime until 4pm on Sunday.
Admission is free.
Face painting and a selection of activities are available for children.
Visitors can meet and chat to firefighters and have a guided tour of the station.
Rope rescue and smoke tent demonstrations will be mounted to show how firefighters are constantly being trained.
All proceeds go to charity.
