A POLICE helicopter was launched after a woman a teenage boy were injured by a man driving a car.
The incident happened at around 8.45pm in the Warrington Road area of Birchwood on Saturday (June 11).
The wanted man fled the scene in a black Ford Fiesta, which was found abandoned by officers in Lyster Close later in the evening.
Fortunately, the woman and 16-year-old boy did not require any medical assistance.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "At around 8.45pm on Saturday, June 11, police received reports of an altercation in the Warrington Road area of Birchwood in Warrington.
"Officers attended and discovered that a 16-year-old boy and a woman had sustained minor injuries inflicted by a man driving a car.
"They did not require medical assistance.
"The man had fled the scene in the black Ford Fiesta.
"Officers found the car abandoned in Lyster Close, Birchwood, Warrington, later that night and enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing."
