TAKE a look around the new Indian restaurant in Bewsey.
9 Curry’s, based on Folly Lane, has opened after more than two months of refurbishments.
“It looks smart as we have refurbished it quite a lot,” said owner Choudary Waqar Dhudi.
“I think we have one of the best spaces and facilities in the area.
“We can also cater for more than 100 people in the restaurant.
“The chef comes from Manchester and he has got 23 years of experience in Indian cuisine which shows how good he is. He knows what he’s doing."
9 Curry’s welcomed family, friends and councillors in for the opening night.
The 39-year-old continued: “It is massive to now be open.
“When I spoke to the local community, they felt that they hadn’t had this taste before anywhere around here which gives us a boost.
“It tells us there is potential but actions speak louder than words so give us a try.
“There is loads of potential in the market.
“We are just here to do our bit, we aren’t rivals.
“We would love to work with the community, see ourselves grow and provide much better food than anyone else.”
