GRAPPENHALL Cricket Club's first XI made it two wins on the trot at the weekend before bowing out of the Cheshire Cup.
They comprehensively beat Bollington by eight wickets, backing up the success against Alvanley in the Cheshire County Cricket League the week previous.
Bollington posted a below par 140-9 in their 50 overs.
Grappers knocked off the total with 20 overs to spare, for the loss of two wickets.
On Sunday the firsts lost at home to Wallasey in the Cheshire Cup.
Wallasey posted 193-9 off their 40 overs with Nick Woods picking up three wickets.
Grappers made a good fight of it but finished eight runs short, nine wickets down at the end of the last over.
The seconds lost at home to Heaton Mersey by five wickets.
Grappers posted 195-8 off their 50 overs but lost out to Mersey as they knocked off the total in the last over for the loss of five wickets.
