IT was an evening full of smiles, celebrations, and there were even some tears shed as the Warrington Guardian Education Awards took place.
There were 13 awards up for grabs for more than 40 amazing finalists.
With the help of our wonderful host Elaine Willcox, ITV Granada presenter and lead correspondent, we were able to recognise and celebrate those people and schools who have put themselves before others.

Every one of our finalists deserved to be a winner and did incredibly well to be shortlisted after hundreds of entries.
