A SEVENTEEN-year-old girl has been jailed after committing 17 attacks on emergency services workers in six months.
The teenager, from Warrington, was handed an eight-month detention and training order at Warrington Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 10, after admitting a string of offences.
These charges arose out of an incident in the town the previous Sunday, March 6.
She attacked a male and damaged a car windscreen and bonnet before assaulting two police officers attending the scene.
After being taken to Cheshire Police’s custody suite in Runcorn, the youth – who cannot be named for legal reasons – then attacked a further four PCs as well as two detention officers.
The teen pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, eight counts of assaulting an emergency services worker, assault and criminal damage.
Her eight latest attacks on officers follow nine other convictions for assaulting emergency services workers in the previous six months.
