ALL lanes have reopened on the M56 westbound due to an overturned lorry this afternoon, Friday.
The accident happened as a result of strong winds brought by Storm Eunice between junction nine for the M6 at Lymm Interchange and junction 10 for the A49 Tarporley Road at Stretton.
The westbound carriageway was closed, while traffic was also slow heading eastbound due to onlookers.
According to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, thankfully the driver did not suffer any serious injuries.
Congestion westbound stretched back to junction seven for Bowdon.
