ORGANISER of the biggest indoor tent sleepover party in the United Kingdom. is a title we would all love to hold.
For one Lymm woman, Joanne Jones, she might have achieved exactly that.
Joanne took on Bell Tent Party Events and The Great Indoors Sleepovers, which had been running party events at the time, from the former owner, also from Lymm, who had one bell tent at the time.
The mum-of-four has since grown it to have seven bell tents, a hot tub and five indoor tent sleepover franchisees.
On top of that, she believes they have put together the biggest indoor tent sleepover party around.
At a school in Didsbury, Joanne took on the challenge of setting up the event for 57 children in a whole school sleepover where the children each had an individual bed to sleep in in the school overnight.
Joanne, who grew up in Hale, said: “We were working around things going on normally in school to get the tents up across four different rooms. It took three of our team three hours to get it all set up.
“It was a mammoth task but we did it.”
The 45-year-old added: “I am so proud of what we have achieved with the business because we provide ‘wow’ parties for children every single week and help them create special memories that will last a lifetime.
“I also love that I can help other mum’s like me run a profitable business around their families.
“I am so proud of my team for keeping going over the last two years when things have been super tough and to emerge the other side with a business that others can rely on.
“It’s always really great to be part of someone’s party.”
The Didsbury school have also rebooked in March for another party – which could break her own record.
