WARRINGTON’s Own Buses has launched a new app and website.
The bus company hopes that its new technology will ‘boost uptake in public transport in the town by allowing travellers quicker and more efficient ways to plans journeys’.
This will include live bus tracking and the ability to purchase tickets via your mobile phone.
Powered by UK public transport website and app provider Passenger, the Touch and Go app is now available to download on IOS and Android.
Passenger chief executive Tom Quay said: “We’re delighted to be working with Warrington’s Own Buses in its efforts to get local people to Bus Back Better.
“Our companies align on the same values as we encourage people to make public transport as a first choice and promote sustainable transport, with Warrington’s Own Buses planning to introduce an all-electric bus fleet in the future.”
