Visitors warned not to come to Delamere Forest as high winds are forecast
DELAMERE Forest is closing early due to the high winds that are forecast to get even stronger on Sunday afternoon.
Visitors already walking or jogging round the trees are being asked to leave by 3pm.
A spokesman for Delamere Forest said: “This is for the safety of our visitors and staff as strong winds can lead to some trees becoming unstable or blowing over.”
