Described by Wolves owner Simon Moran as a "real coup for the club and Super League as a competition", Louis arrives at Warrington 12 months after brother Vinnie joined the Wolves. Capped by the Kiwis while he was still a teenager in the 2004 Tri Nationals, Louis is widely experienced despite his relative youth and will bring a robust and assured presence to Wolves' left second row position in 2008. A junior with East Coast Bays and Taniwharau, he made his first-grade NRL debut for the NZ Warriors in 2004 and won himself international recognition at the end of a stellar first season. He went on to play 13 consecutive Tests in a powerful Kiwi pack and shared in the 2005 Tri National championship success before a stress fracture on his foot laid him out for the 2006 series. He has played second row, loose forward and hooker in his career to date but will look to settle in the second row in Super League.
